Responsibilities:
- Responsible to develop and nurture strong programmatic mindset, train staff on programs and catalyse their performance to meet program quality and targets.
- Lead market research and analysis, donor/partner mapping, assessment of government partnerships (state of West Bengal & North Eastern States), synthesize qualitative and quantitative trends to identify growth opportunities in thematic segments of health, agecare and livelihoods.
- Build and nurture relationships with state government agencies, policy makers, bilateral/multilateral agencies, large corporations focused on CSR as well as donors & philanthropies in the ecosystem.
- Identify institutional donors to be targeted and potential value propositions for each donor, creation of market share for HelpAge India.
- Develop and implement elderly focused programmes for the state of West Bengal, train state implementation staff and catalyse state staff performance in fulfilling program targets.
- Will be responsible for managing the state operations. Lead the team and guide and support them in achieving their goals.
- Will be responsible for maintaining the HelpAge India’s leadership and mission in the state.
- Organise events and conferences for enhancing and spreading awareness about the vision of the organisation.

- A go-getter who will have the ability to independently lead strategic relationships with key stakeholders and potential HelpAge India clients/partners in both public and private sector
- Proven competencies in relationship management, including evidence of conflict resolution abilities and developing long-lasting relations with teams, donors and partners.
- Experience and proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to effectively articulate HelpAge India’s proposition to senior leaders in Government, CSR and development sector, leading from the front in key meetings/presentations.
- Should be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and have the ability to steer operational aspects in addition to strategy.
- Excellent written (especially proposal writing) and oral communications including creating compelling presentations.
- Financial acumen is essential – ability to size opportunities, budgets. etc
