Helpage India awarded Gold seal of trust by Give
HelpAge India has been awarded the Gold seal of trust after undergoing the extensive due diligence process at Give. The citation states: ‘Your unwavering commitment to excellence, dedication to serve and adherence to best practices will surely help in delivering large-scale projects to create the required impact on the ground.Your diligence has not only safeguarded the interests of your beneficiaries but has also helped in earning the trust and confidence of your donors and other stakeholders.

HelpAge India receives “Champion Level - GuideStar India Platinum Certification" 2023
HelpAge India has been awarded the prestigious GuideStar India Champion Level- Platinum certification and have joined India’s largest pool of credible NGOs after undergoing a rigorous due diligence process. GuideStar India’s Platinum Certification is the Champion Level certification indicating that a high level of accountability and good governance procedures are adopted by the organisation. It shares in the public domain, its tax returns filed within due date, audited annual accounts and auditor’s report submitted to tax authorities for two years and that there are no material qualifications in its audited accounts.

CRISIL VO1A Grading for excellence in operations & financial transparency (2022)
HelpAge India has been accorded with a grading certificate of VO 1A rating from CRISIL, the highest given to any Voluntary Organization, as a mark of excellence in field operations and financial transparency. The VO grading is an independent opinion CRISIL on a Voluntary Organization’s relative capability to achieve its stated objectives in a sustained manner.

HelpAge India was awarded the prestigious Bharat Nirman Institutional Award against its outstanding services for senior citizens. Mrs. Susmita Ghose (centre), National Director (SAVE), HelpAge India, upholds the trophy which she received on behalf of HelpAge India at the 21st Annual Bharat Nirman Awards Ceremony on the 14th June 2014 at Kalamandir Auditorium, Kolkata.
HelpAge India honoured with United Nations Population Award 2020
HelpAge India, became the first Indian non-profit to be honoured with the ‘United Nations Population Award 2020’, for its exemplary work working in the field of ageing for disadvantaged elderly in India, work during the Covid 19 pandemic and recognition of the organization’s outstanding contribution to population issues and efforts in the realization of older persons rights in India since 1978.
HelpAge India Certified as a Great Place to Work® in India for 2022-2023
HelpAge India has received the prestigious Great Place to Work® Certification in India. The Great Place to Work® Certification is awarded to organisations that deliver excellent employee experiences and demonstrate best-in-class people practices based on a rigorous assessment process. An organisation gets certified if more than 70% of the employees rate the organisation as a great workplace along with having a strong foundation of people practices. Great Place to Work® is the global authority on workplace culture. The Institute serves businesses, non-profits and government agencies in more than 60 countries and has conducted pioneering research on the characteristics of great workplaces for over three decades.
HelpAge India Certified as a Great Place to Work® in India for 2022-2023
HelpAge India has a special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2019. This status is granted to non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that focus on specific areas of ECOSOC. The consultative status with ECOSOC gives the right to participate in United Nations conferences and meetings, to submit written statements and reports, to make oral interventions, and to organise panel discussions.

HelpAge India Awarded Times Social Impact Award
HelpAge India has been awarded the Times Social Impact Award, an initiative by the Times Group, as best NGO in the health sector. HelpAge India was chosen for its Mobile Healthcare Program that operates in 20 states through Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) treating those elderly who can’t afford or reach health facilities.

Healthcare Leadership Award 2012
Mr. Georgy M. Varghese (right), Director Health Services, HelpAge India, receives the Health care Leadership Award 2012 from Padmashri Dr. K.K. Aggarwal , well-known cardiologist and senior physician. HelpAge received the award for outstanding contribution in promoting inclusive healthcare in the ‘NGO in Healthcare’ category. This award was given by civil society group, Knowledge Resource Development and Welfare Group.
HelpAge India Receives Chairman's Challenge Award
HelpAge India volunteering program with Prudential Process Management Services (PPMS) has received an award in the innovation category of Chairman’s Challenge Award along with prize money of £ 5519. Prudential Process Management Services has been supporting HelpAge India for last seven years through volunteering and involvement of their employees in HelpAge India’s projects. The employees get to meet and spend time with the elderly and enrich themselves.
